Inspired by ancient Javanese gold and Riau metalwork in the collection of the Asian Civilisations Museum, these contemporary interpretations reflect Raffles' interest in the Hindu-Buddhist antiquities of Java, as well as his interactions with the Johor-Riau-Lingga Islands. Stone sculptures from ancient Javanese temples were frequently depicted wearing elaborate jewellery closely resembling examples from the museum's collection.
Designed and handcrafted by Handmade Republic for MUSEUM LABEL, Asian Civilisations Museum.
Each piece is individually handcrafted using traditional hand-sawn method. Slight differences may occur in each unique piece.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Brass is an alloy of copper & zinc. Like most other fine metals (such as fine gold & silver), brass will also oxidise with time (depending on humidity, usage and care).
To restore the shine on your Hansel & Smith jewellery, simply polish and buff off in 2 easy steps using Cape Cod® Polish. Avoid using other cleaning methods which may cause damage to your jewellery.
Avoid contact of gold-plated chain, clasps and jump rings with chemicals such as perfume, lotion, chlorine, etc. Store jewellery in a box and at a cool dry place.
